Since I pulled the plug on Ezzie last week, I haven’t written a thing. I had hoped to finish something to enter in ABNA this year, but alas, just a bunch of shorts. Obsession isn’t long enough and the first Ezzie series just isn’t a novel. It isn’t long enough (for one thing), and it is too self indulgent.
I was feeling a little down this morning. I haven’t been a good little writer this year. No significant output from me or my other pseudonym (which shall go un-named for the sake of privacy). I did start reading through my “Annethology” with a view to self-publishing it this year. It is probably going to be called The Veil of Sheera and other Tales. It will (of course) include The Veil of Sheera, but it will feature Intolerance, the most substantial work in the volume, a novella about a girl who has been locked away in a mansion on the east coast of England by her father. Only after his death does she discover the truth. They say the truth will set you free, but for her the truth is her worst nightmare.
Other stories include: Cthlaiora, Pull the Plug, Are You Still There?, and The Cellphone You are Calling has been Switched Off. There are more, but I haven’t decided which ones yet. I’ve decided to publish it by summer. I’ll post details when it is closer to release.
