Ah, well, today’s haiku wasn’t supposed to be one. I wrote a series of words, and putting them together gave me a 5 syllable line, and then a 7 syllable line, then I dropped two words and was left with the final line: slip.
I like slippery things, wet things, things underneath, things not underneath, underneath things left uncovered, things left uncovered, uncovering things, being uncovered, being
I like what you do underneath, being done underneath, doing underneath, uncovering the underneath, having my underneath uncovered, slip slipped, slipless, slipping, slippery – did I say that before?
I like the slippery underneath, slipping underneath, wet things becoming slippery underneath, becoming wet, being wet, swimming in my slippery underneath, having my swimming underneath uncovered and discovered while discovering the other’s slippery underneath, being covered by their slippery underneath, slipping underneath
Does that count as a poem? Again, it is in the wrong place. Meh. Maybe it explains my obsession with the underwater photos, which I think I’ve exhausted, or maybe they have exhausted me.
I’m reading through my Ezzie episodes with the intention of starting another series. I’ve read half of the second series, and then I’ll go back to the first. As I said before, I don’t have my cards with me, and I may need that tacitary(?), tack, tactless, tactile element to be that elementary and elemental phenomenon that Ezzie can be. We’ll see how that goes.
Here is today’s random card:
Hmm. It came up as The Priestess again. Shuffle the virtual deck. That’s more like it!
7 of Cups: Debauch.
Lotuses have turned to slime – a reminder of how the beautiful can quickly become profaned and unbeautiful. External splendor with internal corruption. Have I gone that far? To be completely honest, I “drew” that card after I wrote everything above.
I think it has become a slippery slimy slope. Wheeeeeeeee!
