I don’t have a lot of time this morning, so I needed to find some inspiration fast. Nothing was coming for my haiku, so I used a random word generator: Provoked. And nothing was coming here, so I picked a card, which I’ll address at the end.

Places to go, people to see today. I saw my mentor briefly yesterday. He has problems hearing and is almost blind, so he came down briefly just to say hello. He made it clear that he didn’t want to converse. Aside from that, he looked fit. Instead, I had a nice chat with his wife for a couple of hours. After that, I went for a run with my old running club. There has been a big turnover in the 7 years since I was a member, and I’m am recognizing fewer and fewer of them. I don’t know how much longer it is reasonable to keep coming back. They had a brutal race yesterday, so most were running short runs, so I was content with that. I’ve been putting a lot of mileage in this year, and my body has been revolting (as in revolution, not hideousness) lately.

Today is packing day, and internet has been spotty the past couple of days, so I don’t know how much engagement I’ll be up to.

Today’s card:

Knight of Swords: Ambitious, action-oriented, driven to succeed, fast-thinking.

Act now, think about it later. I’ve acted.

Provoked? I know my archetype is the provocateur, for I embody innovation couple with mystique. Apparently.

You provocate me, you agent, you madame du mystère, you thinker of inks, archangel of archetypes, you parent apparently.
