I survived my latest travels only to find my flat a mess. Our latest tenants broke a lot of things, and with a short turnaround, the cleaners were unable to rectify things adequately. It’s frustrating, to say the least, but that isn’t what my haiku is about: Frustration. I’ll leave that to your imagination. (It shouldn’t be too hard.)
I’m back in familiar surroundings, and I’m hoping that will inspire me to get certain tasks started, at least. Of course, I need to buy some food, and replace all the breakage. Before I go on, that fits in with today’s card:
10 of Wands. Oppression.
Burden, hard work, and well, completion. That last one doesn’t really fit in here, today. I’m just starting. It’s force run wild, separated from its spiritual origin. I need to rein it in and concentrate on the work that I am here to do, rather than cleaning up all the mess. Yes, I’ll clean it up, but that needs to be done in its own time, and I need to dedicate time to my work.
It’s the hottest day of the year so far, but not nearly as hot as in France. My sunburn has all but peeled off, leaving my new skin red, rather than tanned. Redheads don’t tan properly.
