Yesterday was a good day. My phone call went well, although the proof will come on Friday. A new poem on TCoA in addition to my pre-loaded daily haiku: desecration. I’ll have to write another one tomorrow from scratch, unless something comes today.
I’ve done it again. I’ve started this blog without a title. Shame on me, and I’m no closer to a title now. Should I draw my card now? Let’s wait for the moment. I’m not desperate yet, although some would say I’m always desperate – I’m not despairing – yet my chosen writing genre implies that I’m either getting too much or too little. I’ll leave that for you to figure out. My first word was “yesterday”. Should I start singing the song? As I’ve said before, you wouldn’t want to hear that, nor would you want to see me draw a card. I’m worse at drawing than I am at singing. I should just get my horn out and play you a ditty, except that my horn is at home. I don’t travel with it unless I have a gig during the journey, which I don’t. I’m gigless, as it were. Giggles.
Since I’m obliged to give you a tip, or some other word of wisdom in my blogs, I should say something significant.
The moon reflects the shining sun.
I almost named today’s blog title-less, differentiated from untitled for no reason whatsoever, but definitely not to be confused with titless, which is just plain offensive.
OK, here is my card:
I. The Magus
Also known as The Magician or the Juggler and symbolizes the ultimate skill, adroitness, and cunning. It is the opposite of 0. The Fool, in that the Fool achieves through blind luck what the Magus does through knowledge, skill and planning. So you can thank the Fool for everything I’ve written above, and the Magus for everything I’m going to achieve today. I’m still lacking inspiration, but maybe I can compensate by relying on craft.
That remains to be seen.
