I’ve already posted twice on TCoA today, so I’ve written you another little ditty, pretty.
Dance the minuet
One, two, three, and
glance at another
touch her partner
a simple caress
that says more
catch his eye
we can all play
at this game
four, five, six
linger longer
play for time
some of us
play for keeps
Roxanne, you don’t have to wear that dress tonight
You mean I don’t have to walk the streets tonight?
I had to alter the poem. The Minuet is a six-count dance: Step-two-three-step-step-step. R – – LRL.
I love the rhythm. I didn’t know what a Minuet is before I read this piece, but, reading the comments, now I do. Is that you in the picture?
No, I don’t do pics, but thanks for your comments.
I was just wondering, since it goes with the poem. I didn’t mean to offend you.
No offense taken. I write under a pseudonym, since I need to keep my identity private for professional reasons.
ooohhhh, that’s cool. That’s interesting. You’re like a spy
It’s not that interesting, really.
oh okie
